What is an Electrophysiology (EP) Study and Ablation?
An Electrophysiology (EP) study is a specialized diagnostic procedure used to evaluate the heart’s electrical system and identify the source of abnormal heart rhythms (arrhythmias). How is an EP Study and Ablation Performed?

The access site (usually the groin) is numbed. Sedation or general anesthesia may be administered for comfort.
